1 ½ cups white sugar
200g (7oz) softened butter
1 cup cocoa
1 cup plain flour
Sometimes we all just need that rich chocolaty treat. When that happens, these brownies are just the pick-me-up you need.
Preheat the oven to 150°C (305°F). Then beat the sugar, butter and cocoa together in a food processor for 4-5 minutes. Add eggs one at a time. Finally beat in the flour.
If you’re a wicked chocolate lover like I am, add in half a cup of chocolate chunks for extra tastiness (not technically Take 5, but who’s counting…).
Spray a baking tin (approximately 18 inch) with cooking spray, and cook for 20 minutes.
I recommend having these with a glass of milk. Enjoy.
